CMV CLINICAL TRIAL

Cytomegalovirus or CMV is a common virus that rarely affects healthy people. Once infected in remains in your body for life and is a cause of concern for women of childbearing potential and for those who have had an organ, stem cell or bone marrow transplant, the virus can be deadly. Children who are born with the virus often suffer from weakened immune systems.

This study is 2 groups, one with the investigational drug and one with the placebo.
The study spans over 30 months with 14 visits and includes intermittent safety phone calls.

Inclusion:

  • Healthy females, 16-30 years of age

Exclusion:

  • Women of non-childbearing potential or those who are surgically sterile
